Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Accountant with a strong background in accounting and financial management. This role requires a high level of expertise in managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and other reports as required.
- Accounts Management: Oversee and manage the day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, providing insights and analysis to support business decisions.
- Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with all tax regulations, including preparing and filing tax returns and handling tax audits when necessary.
- Internal Controls: Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy.
- Audit Support: Liaise with external auditors and ensure that all financial documents and records are accurate and readily available.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement, and present findings to management.
- Payroll Management: Oversee payroll processing and ensure compliance with all statutory requirements.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on financial regulations and ensure the company’s financial practices comply with all relevant laws and standards.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working with a reputable accounting firm or other reputable company, firm, or organization.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in Tally accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of integrity and commitment to ethical accounting practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
