Summary

The role will be directly reporting to the Head of Sales. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining and building a robust pipeline, closing global strategic accounts and airlines whilst maintaining and growing transaction volumes and
revenues through relationship-building and upselling.

Responsibilities

Your daily adventures include:

  • Building the airlines pipeline (international, regional and domestic), acquisition and activation of accounts
  • New Africa strategic/key accounts development & strategic account planning manifested through a healthy pipeline
  • Managing of Africa strategic accounts to achieve sales, operating income, and other metrics, driving revenue out of global strategic accounts producing significant incremental revenues
  • Strategic account engagement and C-suite relationships: Engaging strategic accounts at Sr. Executive levels developing deep, long-term, trusted-partner relationships
  • Partnering closely with the relevant divisions to customize product demonstrations based on client

Requirements

  • Leveraging on payment partners such as Banks to acquire leads that result in closed accounts
  • Establishing and maintaining customer satisfaction in strategic accounts working collaboratively with the relevant divisions
  • Participating in government RFPs

What It Takes To Succeed

  • 5 + years of solution sales experience
  • 5 years in the high tech and/or software space, with a history of driving, managing and closing strategic deals
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management
  • Experience leading strategic accounts initiatives / organizations across Africa
  • Knowledge, experience, and success of growing businesses in high growth, “new” marketplaces
  • Knowledge of the airlines industry
  • Possesses excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
  • Proven ability to hit or exceed sales quota
  • Strong B2B business development skills
  • Ability to articulate value proposition to C-Level, Sales and Marketing executives
  • Travel required. Will be responsible for a large Geography
