Job Summary
- The Bancassurance Manager is responsible for executing the company’s bancassurance strategy, growing, developing and maintaining bancassurance relationships while delivering exceptional customer experience by providing coordinated access to tailored products and services while driving revenue growth.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement a comprehensive bancassurance strategy aligned with the company’s strategy.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs and competitors to identify opportunities for growth.
- Design and roll out an attractive campaign for the growth of the bancassurance portfolio.
- Drive sales initiatives to achieve revenue targets and maximize business growth and profitability.
- Identify, establish and maintain strategic partnerships and relationships with banks and financial institutions.
- Identify and explore new business opportunities within the bancassurance channel, including cross-selling and upselling.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders internally and externally to optimize the bancassurance distribution channel.
- Conduct regular training sessions with the banks and financial institutions’ bancassurance staff to enhance their product knowledge, sales skills and customer experience capabilities.
- Drive process improvement in all the customer journey touchpoints to enhance eciency, and customer experience.
- Identify opportunities for enhancing the process maturity levels in terms of automation, digitization and streamlining the bancassurance workflows and customer experience.
- Ensure all bancassurance operations are in compliance with the internal policies, insurance regulations and legal requirements.
ACADEMIC AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Insurance, Finance, Business or related discipline from a reputable university.
- Professional qualification(s) in insurance, e.g. ACII, FCII, or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE
- At least 8-10 years’ experience in marketing general solutions to banks and financial institutions.
- Proven track record in sales and relationship management, preferably in the bancassurance or insurance industry.
- Proven track record of successfully implementing strategic initiatives and driving process improvements.
