    The role is responsible for delivering end-to-end technical support and lifecycle management of business systems in alignment with Liberty’s ICT strategy. This includes contributing to the design, configuration, integration, and optimization of system architecture, as well as supporting testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance. The role plays a key part in ensuring system reliability, scalability, and performance to meet evolving business requirements.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards while at the same time adhering to the Company’s Policies, Processes, and Procedures with respect to systems support and IT Service Management.
    • Managing and supporting business systems including solutions enhancement and support issues related to the business units.
    • Managing integrations across various platforms with the core systems: Including but not limited to data analytics platforms, financial systems, and communication systems (SMS and Email).
    • Identify and execute ICT-based solutions for enhancing efficiencies across different processes.
    • Escalate any major risks that relate to either an individual process or the entire portfolio to the Manager, IT Applications.
    • Ensure that all service level agreements (SLAs) for applications support services across the organization are delivered according to specifications.
    • Provide first line and second line support and maintenance services for all enterprise systems.
    • Proactive monitoring of various systems for performance, availability, and other critical parameters
    • Ensure adequate monitoring systems that provide timely, accurate, real-time, and historical data on performance and other critical parameters
    • Ensure that enterprise systems are adequately sized to meet SLA’s with the business Define and monitor data and application availability for the enterprise system Document and update processes and procedures in use for the enterprise system Adequate communication to stakeholders on the state of any tickets assigned
    • Test new system functionality before deployment into production environments Approval of acceptance tests.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science and any relevant field.
    • Knowledge in Oracle and/or Ms SQL Databases and related products, Agile tools, Microsoft Office productivity suite of applications.

    Experience

    • At least 3 years of experience in a busy system environment, software development and/or IT systems support role within a large highly digitized organization managing mission-critical systems.
    • Demonstrable track record in system analysis, relational database design skills, and IT Support Operations functions.
    • Highly analytical problem-solving with the ability to apply original and innovative thinking.
    • Ability to manage system and/or process changes.

    Systems Administrator

    Key Responsibilities

    • Planning and Designing of both Private and Public Cloud Infrastructure, Servers, Storage, Linux/Unix, Windows, Microsoft Office 365, Email Security Gateway, Virtualization (Hypervisors) and Datacentres requirements as per the business plan and technology.
    • Installation/configuration of both Private and Public Cloud Infrastructure, Servers, Storage, Linux/Unix, Windows, Microsoft Office 365 Monitoring and Capacity Planning as per the IT policies/ Standards and providing guidance to the users on its features and usage to ensure its proper use and improvement in performance.
    • Maintain detailed documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
    • Support, Maintenance. Patching and Administration of servers (both physical and virtual), including hardware, OS (Windows), SAN Storage, OVM, Linux and Windows products.
    • Ensure system configurations meet regulatory and industry security standards.
    • Maintain Active Directory such as creating accounts, troubleshooting authentication, configuring domain controllers, managing DNS and DHCP, and implementing group policies.
    • Desktop support; serve as an escalation point for the service desk team and backup for activities including direct end-user support.
    • Disaster readiness is maintained as agreed and ensures regular DR exercises are done as per the Policy.

    Qualifications

    • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
    • Certification and/or knowledge in the following areas would be preferred:
    • Microsoft Certified: Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 - Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA)
    • Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
    • Microsoft Certified: Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 - Certified IT Professional (CITP)
    • VMware Certified Professional - Data Centre Virtualization (VCP-DCV)
    • Any of the Core Systems Administration Certifications listed below:
    • CompTIA Server+
    • Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate
    • Linux Professional Institute Certification (LPIC-1 or LPIC-2)
    • Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)
    • Any of the Cloud Infrastructure Certifications listed below:
    • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Enterprise administrator expert, etc.
    • AWS Certified SysOps Administrator -Associate, AWS Certified Solutions Architect- Associate etc.
    • Business Continuity planning experience would be an added advantage.
    • ITIL Service Level Management certification is an added advantage.

    Experience

    • Minimum 5 years working experience in a busy IT environment with a hands-on role in implementing and supporting Enterprise Storage Solutions; Proxy Server; Email Security Gateway; SharePoint; Teams for Business; Virtualization (both on-prem and public cloud).
    • Experience in the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services and Insurance) sector will be an added advantage and how Information Technology contributes to the success of financial institutions.

    Competencies

    • Demonstrable track record in managing Linux platforms, Windows Enterprise servers and UNIX systems, HP Server Platforms (rack mount and blades), PowerShell scripting, MS System Centre (SCCM, SCOM) Configuration, Office 365 (Exchange Online, One Drive for Business, SharePoint Online), Active Directory Services and 3rd Party Vendor Management.
    • Good understanding of backup processes and experience in backup and recovery tools.
    • Experience with virtualization technologies, Network Attached Storage (NAS) and Various server products (HP, Dell etc.) and platforms (rack mount and blades)
    • Strong knowledge in Microsoft 365 and Azure subscription
    • Proven experience in system management software and tools such as PowerShell scripting, SCCM, Intune, Endpoint Central etc.
