- Fundraising & Partnerships: Develop and implement strategies to engage tourism operators in fundraising activities supporting Serengeti conservation.
- Donor & Partner Engagement: Identify and cultivate relationships with new and existing tourism partners to secure financial and in-kind support.
- Event & Campaign Management: Organize fundraising events and campaigns in collaboration with tourism operators.
- Communication & Outreach: Develop and distribute engaging communication materials highlighting conservation efforts and community impact.
- Representation & Advocacy: Represent the programme at tourism events, presenting conservation challenges and opportunities.
- Monitoring & Reporting: Track and report fundraising progress, evaluating the impact of activities and suggesting improvements.
- Media & Public Relations: Act as a liaison for tourism businesses and media, ensuring alignment with the programme’s communication strategy.
- Cross-Team Support: Provide communication and fundraising support to other conservation programmes as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in fundraising, marketing, communications, environmental science, or a related field. Master’s degree in related field will be added advantage
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in fundraising
- Strong knowledge conservation issues
- Proven ability to engage stakeholders and build successful partnerships
- Experience in writing and producing communication materials (e.g., newsletters, social media content, reports)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM systems
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Kiswahili is an advantage
- Basic photography and editing skills (more experience desirable)
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Canva, and other design programs

- An initial contract of one years will be offered, subject to a completion of a successful probation period.
