Gaming Board of Tanzania (GBT) is a public gaming regulatory institution established under the Gaming Act No. 4 of 2003. Its main functions are to oversee, monitor, and regulate the conduct of gaming activities in Tanzania. GBT is seeking to recruit qualified and competent Tanzanians to fill the following job positions:

INSPECTOR III – (5 Posts)Qualifications:
- Holder of Bachelor Degree in one of the following fields: Law, Accounting, Finance, Gaming, Business Administration, Information Systems, Taxation, or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution. The applicant with hands-on experience on gaming will have an added advantage.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- To assist in conducting inspection of licensed operations to assess compliance with the gaming legislation;
- To conduct inspections of prospective gaming premises to determine suitability for gaming operations;
- To assist in preparing inspection reports on inspected gaming activities;
- To assist in conducting reconciliation of information and data on the conduct and outcome of lottery operations;
- To conduct registration of gaming devices;
- To assist in updating information related to gaming devices and other relevant information;
- To perform other relevant duties as may be assigned by supervisor.
GENERAL CONDITIONS:
- The applicant should be a Tanzania citizen aged not above 45 years, EXCEPT for those in Public Service and the DSOLS post.

- Professional certificates from foreign universities and other training institutions should be verified by the Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU) and National Council for Technical Education (NACTE).
