Tanzania Endline Rapid Assessment

Land O’Lakes Venture37 (Venture37) invites proposals to conduct an endline rapid assessment for the Tanzania Accelerated Innovation Delivery Initiative in Livestock (AIDI-L) project. AIDI-L is implemented by the International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI) with partner, Venture37 from June 1, 2024 – September 30, 2025. The project aims to increase the production of and access to poultry meat and eggs in the Dodoma region of Tanzania through improving application of improved poultry husbandry practices and access to inputs (breeding stock, vaccinations) for dual purpose farmers.
The endline rapid assessment assess the appropriateness, effectiveness, efficiency, and sustainability of AIDI-L’s approach and implementation using a mixed method approach that will include surveys with participant producers, brooders, focus group discussions with producers, and key informant interviews with other stakeholders. The assessment will also highlight differences in participation and benefits for men, women and youth in production and input provision.
The assignment will last from June – August 2025. Applicants are expected to have strong experience in conducting assessments of similar scope with expertise in poultry production and gender analysis. Experience conducting fieldwork in the key region is preferred.
