  1. Dental Surgeons – 2 Posts

    Entry Qualifications:

    • Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from a recognized institution.
    • Completed one-year internship.
    • Registered with the Medical Council of Tanganyika as a Dental Officer with a valid practicing license.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Provide routine and emergency dental health services for in-patients and outpatients.
    • Prepare patients for surgeries and perform post-operative follow-ups.
    • Participate in ward rounds, patient presentations, journal clubs, and provide appropriate management.
    • Contribute to the preparation of medical reports.
    • Engage in research activities and outreach programs.
    • Participate in continuing education programs for medical personnel.

    Salary Scale: PMGSS 8

  2. Medical Specialist II – Anaesthesiologist – 1 Post

    Entry Qualifications:

    • Master of Medicine Degree (MMed) in Anesthesiology.
    • Holder of a Doctor of Medicine degree, registered with the Medical Council of Tanganyika (MCT).
    • Completed one-year internship with a valid practicing license.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Examine surgical maxillofacial patients and prepare them for surgery.
    • Monitor vital signs during surgery and manage anesthesia-related complications.
    • Provide general anesthesia and manage airway during maxillofacial surgeries.
    • Conduct pre- and post-anesthesia reviews.
    • Supervise medical technicians, nurses, and healthcare support staff.

    Salary Scale: PMGSS 11

  3. Anaesthetist (Anesthesia) – 1 Post

    Entry Qualifications:

    • Bachelor of Science in Nurse Anesthesia.
    • Registered with the Tanzania Nursing and Midwifery Council (TNMC).
    • Completed one-year internship with a valid practicing license.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Prepare operating rooms and administer anesthesia for surgeries.
    • Monitor and manage vital functions during and after surgery.
    • Provide anesthesia for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
    • Perform pre-anesthetic assessments and manage postoperative care.

    Salary Scale: PMGSS 6
