PARTS SALES ENGINEER – (HEAVY EQUIPMENTS)
INDUSTRY: MINING
HR World Ltd on behalf of our client, we are looking for a Parts Sales Engineer who will optimize all parts day to-day activities and enhance the performance of parts sales to ensure an excellent customer service on site.
RESPONSIBILITIES;
- Assist Site Parts & Service teams to meet customer needs and improve communication related to parts supply (Availability, ESD, ETA).
- Follow up daily parts activities (Quotations, Orders, Invoicing, Ready parts collection).
- Manages, tracks, and provides updates regarding orders situation and delivery.
- Manage customer SOA, handle any related obstacles to ensure smooth payment process and avoid overdue debt.
- Supervise REMAN core inspection and return process between dealer & customer.
- Identifies and solve customer’s parts related problem/issue and cascade it to relevant dealer member.
- Use the demand and forward planning processes to recommend stock adjustments.
- Evaluate the performance of the parts agreement with customer and dealer-related members.
- Schedule frequent meetings with customer to go over supply chain issues and concerns related to the parts agreement.
- Support the customer to keep the parts catalogue updated in regular bases (legacy, obsolete, superseded, discontinued, wrong and duplicated part numbers).
- Focus of components rebuilds through service (customer / exchange).
- Follow up with customer for machines product link subscription.
- Spotlight on incremental business such as GET & UC.
QUALIFICATIONS;
- Bachelor Degree of Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience in mining parts Sales.
- Ability to delegate and work well within a team.
- High level interpersonal and analytical skills.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Computer skills specially in Excel -Power BI or similar data analytical tools.
- Ability to use CAT SIS, TMI, Parts Vis. and any other CAT parts related websites.
- Ability to work with Dealer Business Systems.
