Key Purpose
The Regulatory Compliance Manager will be responsible for implementing the company’s regulatory compliance program, ensuring adherence to industry laws, regulations, and license obligations. This role involves fostering a culture of compliance that supports prudent risk management and aligns with the organization’s commitment to connecting, delivering, and innovating.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with telecommunications industry laws, regulations, and license obligations. • Monitor organizational practices to maintain compliance and facilitate a strong compliance culture.
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust data protection policies and procedures, including adherence to Group-level policies.
- Conduct regulatory risk management by identifying potential non-compliance areas and mitigating risks to prevent fines or penalties.
- Review and align operational practices with legal and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Risk and Compliance, or a related field.
- Certification in data protection or privacy law is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in regulatory compliance matters, with a focus on data protection.
- Comprehensive understanding of telecommunications regulations and the broader business environment.
- Strong knowledge of telco and data protection laws and regulations.
- Familiarity with data processing operations and information systems.
