Position Summary
The Ifakara Health Institute sees a qualified Research Officer (Medical Doctor) who will work with the Unite4TB project to provide general medical care to the patients.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Screening and enrolment of the patients to the study.
- Participate in the preparation of report on research findings.
- Identification and Management of adverse and severe adverse events.
- Participate in the Initial development of SOPs.
- Management of site investigator files (ISF).
- Communication with Regulatory authority and Ethics.
Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor degree in Clinical Medicine (Medical Doctor).
- At least two years of experience in undertaking clinical research.
- Good Clinical Practice valid certificate.
Skills and Competencies
- Patient Management skills.
- Good Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) skills.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
