Happyland Preparatory is a leading CBC school dedicated to providing quality education and holistic development for our students. We are seeking a qualified and experienced **School Accountant** to join our dynamic team and oversee all financial matters of the institution.

- Experience Length :3 years
- Manage and oversee all financial transactions of the school.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, records, and reports.
- Develop and monitor budgets to ensure proper financial planning.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and other financial management tasks
- Follow up on outstanding fees and dispatch reminders as necessary.
- Handle statutory deductions and staff payments.
- Maintain compliance with financial policies, tax regulations, and audit requirements.
- Liaise with external auditors and regulatory authorities.
- Manage petty cash, banking transactions, and other financial operations.
- Maintain an updated register of learners and financial records in the school system.
- Ensure timely invoicing and collection of school fees.
Identify and report any financial discrepancies or doubtful transactions
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Must have a Kenya Accounting Technicians Certificate (KATC), CPA (Part II) or higher.
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an educational institution.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Customer service experience and ability to handle financial inquiries from parents.
- High integrity and ability to manage confidential financial information.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision and handle financial pressure during peak seasons.
