Shop Manager - Nakuru

- Our Client in the Telecommunications sector seeks to recruit a Shop Manager.
Role Purpose
- To plan, direct & oversee the operations and fiscal (Sales profitability) health of a retail cluster consisting of a minimum of three (3) Retail Shops
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the Revenue & Profitability of the Shops within the allocated Retail Cluster
- Reports & Sales projections/planning
- Enforce SOPs across all stores within the cluster
- Manage the shop's look and feel, i.e., merchandising consistent with the brand, uniforms, and consistency in animation activities inside or outside the shop
- Manage balance between consignment stock and DFP sales with an objective of maximizing device sales
- Cash management, maintaining accuracy and integrity in EJaze, TKash, cash reconciliations, and reporting
- Audit adherence to policies and procedures and take the necessary actions i.e., team training, execute stock takes, customer experience surveys
- Internal and External stakeholder engagement
- Represent the company in relation with local authorities, proactive attitude to local authorities in order to seek business and promotional activities
- Identify and provide potential sales leads to the relevant stakeholders in Enterprise or mobile
- People and Performance Management- Drive performance culture, holding weekly meetings with the teams, manage staff welfare, manage staff retention/ attrition/ replacement
Academic Background & Professional Knowledge
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or related fields
- 2-3 years’ experience in sales and retail management
