Supply Chain Lead responsibilities are:
Sourcing
- Liaise with chicken farmers to come up with a pipeline that will ensure consistent supply of chicken. Preferably more than 500 birds @any given order
- Negotiate for the best pricing
- Ensure the consideration of all cost variables during sourcing
- Conducting market scanning
- Ensure timely arrival of raw materials at the processing center.
- Stock management
Logistics
- Dispatch management – Delivery planning and coordination
- Collaborate with vendors to ensure compliance with logistics requirements and resolve issues with service providers
- Analyze, hypothesize and experiment with datasets to deliver insight
- Assist in the development of data driven products
- Fleet management – Coordination of Riders & Truck drivers, fleet efficiency, fleet SOPs and fleet maintenance
Supply Chain Lead requirements
- Minimum degree in Supply chain management/ Procurement
- Experience in the chicken sourcing industry is a plus
- Dedicated to excellence and detail-oriented execution
- A strategic and analytical mind
- A minimum of 2 years work experience
