Mamlaka ya Mapato Tanzania (TRA) Public Notice on Recruitment Process
On March 22, 2025, the Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) issued a notice calling applicants for the written screening interview. However, some individuals who believe they meet the required qualifications for the advertised positions may have been excluded from the invitation to the interview.
In an effort to ensure fairness and transparency throughout the recruitment process, TRA has provided an opportunity for those who feel they were unjustly excluded to submit their complaints. Below, we will outline the steps those applicants should follow to seek redress.
- Sample Appeal Letters for TRA Job Applicants
How to Submit Complaints:
For applicants who believe they should have been called for the written screening but were not, TRA invites them to submit a formal letter of complaint. The applicants should detail the reasons they believe they meet the qualifications and should have been included. Additionally, applicants must specify the position(s) they applied for, along with the qualifications they possess.
Key Instructions for Submitting Complaints:
- Letter Submission: The complaint letter must clearly explain why the applicant believes they are qualified and should have been invited to the interview.
- Supporting Documents: The letter must be accompanied by a copy of the original job application and relevant academic or professional certificates to support the claim.
- Submission Timeline: Complaints must be submitted between March 24 and March 25, 2025. It is essential to meet this deadline for your complaint to be considered.
- Submission Channels:
- For applicants outside Dar es Salaam, letters should be sent to TRA via email at [email protected] or [email protected].
- Applicants in Dar es Salaam may also deliver their complaint letters to the TRA office at the Samora Service Centre, NHC House, near TTCL headquarters, during working hours.
