Key Focus: This position within Kutoa Project Limited primarily focuses on helping cultivate Kutoa's counseling programs for children and youth.
The holder of this position is required to:
- Provide leadership for, oversee, and provide counseling services and educational programming to influence, define, and support Kutoa Projects mental health and social services and goals; use judgment in problem-solving, prioritizing workflow, and applying departmental processes; develop and provide case management, crisis intervention, individual, and group counseling services, and psychotherapy with general guidance and within best practice standards.
- Develop, coordinate, and oversee educational programs, assessments, outreach activities, and special services; plan, develop, and implement courses, interventions, and other special programs to inform, educate, and increase mental health awareness; serve as a resource and provide psychological consultation for internal and external community constituents based on a thorough understanding and knowledge of departmental and Kutoa Project’s policies and procedures.
- Prepare and maintain client files and reports; oversee compliance with applicable regulations and data quality of clinical and administrative documentation and records; use discretion in the application and dissemination of confidential information and ensure confidentiality; make recommendations regarding and facilitate implementation of operational procedures; conduct research activities specific to the area of specialization; prepare related reports. Provide administrative supervision to Kutoa Project’s staff and/or functional supervision to designated employees and/or affiliates.
- Additional responsibilities and requirements regarding the daily operations include providing training program assistance and other duties as directed by leadership.

Key Focus:
- The Program Coordinator (PC) is responsible for assisting the Director of Operations in building and maintaining strong, effective working relationships with national, county, and local governments, as well as area communities. The Program Coordinator will engage partner organizations through communication and networking and lead all development & training programs.
- The Coordinator will lead hands-on projects that benefit trauma-informed care development while engaging partners in collaborative planning and coordination to effectively coordinate healing group programs and other projects, such as Vacation Bible Schools and School Outreach Programs.
- The PC will be leading the successful partnership building, effective planning, and project development for a suite of projects throughout the year, including organizing meetings, maintaining familiarity with current programs and collaborations, identifying new opportunities and beneficial partnerships, and overseeing volunteer programs focused on educating and engaging our partners and the public in opportunities that lead to hope, healing, and restoration.
- The PC will directly plan, lead, and oversee volunteers and other collaborations to meet our goals and direction. In addition, the PC may assist with other activities to support program implementation, education, and outreach, grow the non-profit, and support our mission.
