Senior Monitoring And Evaluation (M& E) Officer
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Senior M&E Officer’s role is to lead the technical coordination of implementation of the organization’s Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) plan in line with the M&E policy. The Senior M&E Officer spearheads the implementation of organization’s overall M&E plan and strategy in close liaison with the Head – Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E)..
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and operationalization of theories of change and results frameworks at various levels.
- Implement M&E plan, drawing from the M&E strategy, ensuring that the overall M&E frameworks are incorporated within the work plans and implementation strategies.
- Lead M&E data collection and quality review efforts including drawing TORs for specific M&E-related initiatives including evaluations.
- Planning and managing various studies such as performance evaluations, surveys, baseline studies, mid line, end line and case studies,.
- Lead on indicator design, target setting, reporting, database management, and developing M&E and/performance monitoring plans.
- Leads in the effective coordination of data collection activities and surveys with partners and other stakeholders and ensures that indicators and data requirements are met in national and sector surveys and other data collection activities.
- Assesses the presented M&E plan and recommends amendments in line with the given strategy, when necessary
- Design and administer data collection tools, conduct data entry, data cleaning, data processing and analysis
- Assesses the need for and implements specific M&E special studies and other pilot projects.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
The ideal candidate for this role should have
- A Master’s degree in M&E, development economics, statistics, public health or social sciences
An expert in monitoring and evaluation with over 5 years of experience. Strong management skills are essential.

Junior Monitoring And Evaluation (M&E) Officer
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Junior M&E officer provides support for Senior M&E Officer and other experts for whom the performs technical tasks, coordinating activities, carrying out specific research tasks which are required for planning the implementation of the activities.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Puts together an overview of project activities, deadlines and presents at team meetings.
- Support the result-based management of the project based on monitoring of indicators and results as well as monitoring of the implementation of the project’s operational plan
- Support monitoring of projects and updates on the progress of projects, documents and reports regularly on the status of results.
- Support Senior M&E officer to ensure the filling process into the M&E systems .
- Ensure data quality standards are applied and procedures are followed.
- In consultation with Senior M&E Officer prepares and carries out qualitative research projects (developing survey instruments ,field trials, training field staff, organizational preparation in the field, collecting and analyzing data).
- Assist in drawing reports and translations.
- Assists with planning, coordinating and documenting meetings, workshops, seminars and other project activities with a focus on technical aspect.
- Contribute to design and administer data collection tools, conduct data entry, data cleaning, data processing and analysis
- Contribute to advancing the monitoring system .
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
The ideal candidate for this role should have
- Bachelor’s degree in project planning, development economics, statistics, public health or social sciences .
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in similar position in an international Organization.
- Experience in project management and research experience .
- Good knowledge of Microsoft package and statistical software such as SPSS,STATA etc
- Excellent report writing and interpersonal skills.
Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fluency in English and Swahili is essential.
Commercial Manager
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Commercial Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all commercial activities within the organization, including procurement, logistics, and financial management. This role requires a strong understanding of business operations, market dynamics, and international trade regulations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Procurement:
- Oversee procurement activities, including vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management.
- Ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of raw materials, equipment, and supplies.
- Manage supplier relationships and resolve any disputes.
Logistics:
- Coordinate logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
The ideal candidate for this role should have
Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain or a related field
- Minimum 7 years of experience in a commercial management role.
- Strong understanding of Tanzania’s import and export regulations and procedures.
- Knowledge of procurement and supply chain management.
- Experience in the chemical Industry .
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills
- Leadership and team management abilities.
Additional Requirements:
- Proficiency in relevant software applications (e.g., SAP S/4 Hana).
