Job Title: Accountant Farm Parts Limited Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. You will play a key role in managing the company’s finances and supporting decision-making through accurate and timely financial data. Key Responsibilities: Financial Record Keeping:- Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, journals, and bank statements.
- Ensure the accuracy of financial data through regular reconciliation and verification processes.
- Prepare timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing variance analysis and reporting.
- Prepare and file local, TRA tax returns.
- Stay updated with tax regulations to ensure compliance and optimize tax liabilities.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely invoicing and collections.
- Process payroll and maintain employee records as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support for strategic initiatives.
- Assist in the development and improvement of financial processes and systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance,
- Diploma in accounts and related field
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Office environment with standard working hours, with potential for overtime during peak periods.
