Position: AOC Quality Manager
Location: Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
Coastal Air is a leading regional airline committed to excellence in safety, quality, and operational efficiency. We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced AOC Quality Manager to join our team. This is a critical leadership role ensuring compliance with aviation standards and maintaining our Air Operator Certificate (AOC).
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee and maintain the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) in line with aviation regulations.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant aviation laws, regulations, and standards (TCAA, ICAO, etc.).
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to operational and safety procedures.
• Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives across departments.
• Liaise with aviation regulatory authorities, external auditors, and stakeholders.
• Ensure timely resolution of non-conformities and implementation of corrective actions.
• Provide training and support to teams on quality assurance and compliance matters.
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in aviation management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in aviation quality management or a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of aviation regulations and standards, including ICAO, IATA, and TCAA.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Certification in aviation quality systems or safety management systems (preferred).

• Candidates must be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of regional and international aviation compliance requirements.
