We are seeking a skilled and professional Business Banker to join our Branch team in Geita. As a Business Banker, you will play a crucial role in providing financial services and solutions to our business clients, helping them achieve their financial goals while ensuring compliance with banking regulations.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with business clients, understanding their financial needs and objectives
  • Analyze financial statements and assess credit risks to make informed lending decisions
  • Recommend and sell appropriate banking products and services to meet clients’ business needs
  • Monitor and manage loan portfolios, ensuring timely repayments and addressing any issues promptly
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide comprehensive financial solutions to clients
  • Stay updated on market trends, economic conditions, and banking regulations that may impact clients’ businesses
  • Conduct regular client meetings to review financial performance and provide strategic advice
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the bank’s client base
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant banking laws, regulations, and internal policies
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in banking or financial services
  • Strong financial analysis and risk assessment skills
  • Excellent customer relationship management abilities
  • Proficiency in banking software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • In-depth knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements
  • Understanding of financial markets and products
  • Professional banking certifications (e.g., Certified Banking & Finance Professional) preferred
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
