JOB PURPOSE
Providing high standards of Peri-operative care in line with the hospital’s policies and procedures to deliver safe surgical outcomes and achieve patient safety goals.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Delivering comprehensive perioperative care to patients including but not limited to assessing patient needs, preparing patients for surgery, ensuring patient safety throughout the perioperative period.
- Assist the surgeon in the operating room by handling equipment and surgical instruments, anticipating the surgeon’s needs and maintaining a sterile environment in the operating theatre.
- Conduct perioperative assessment, review medical records and ensure all necessary documents and consents are in order, administer medication as prescribed, alley anxiety and provide emotional support to patients and their family.
- Monitor patients vitals assist with anesthesia administration and manage surgical equipment and surgical supplies during the procedure.
- Provide post operative care to patients recovering from surgery including not limited to vital signs monitoring, pain management, incision site and wound care patient and family health education.
- Responding to and reporting abnormal recordings to the person in charge.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including surgeons, anesthesiologist and other perioperative staff to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Ensuring proper documentation, maintaining proper records, confidentiality and handing over between shifts.
- Assisting the anesthetist during induction and reversal of anesthesia.
- Implementing emergency procedure including resuscitation as and when necessary.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS/ QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma in Community Health Nursing.
- Higher Diploma in Peri-operative Nursing.
- 2 years of working experience as a nurse and 1 year experience as Peri-operative nurse.
- A valid BLS and ACLS certification.
- Valid Nursing council license.

JOB PURPOSE
Reporting to the facility manager, maintenance artisans will be required to perform a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks around the facility. The role typically involves fixing, installing, or maintaining equipment, furniture, structures, and systems. He/she should be versatile individual ready to ensure the safe, functional, and aesthetically pleasing condition of properties while contributing to overall customer satisfaction and convenience.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct routine maintenance to prevent future issues. This may include tasks such as replacing of acoustic ceiling, cleaning gutters and lubricating machinery.
- Install and assemble furniture, appliances, and other equipment including things like mounting shelves, installing light fixtures, setting up kitchen appliances, or hanging curtains.
- Assist with office remodeling projects, including framing, drywall installation, tiling, flooring, and other renovation tasks.
- Perform basic electrical repairs such as replacing light switches, water pumps, socket outlets, and light fixtures and plumbing tasks such as fixing leaks, unclogging drains, installation of and replacing faucets.
- Ensure that all work complies with local building codes and safety regulations. Properly handle tools, materials, and equipment to minimize accidents or injuries.
- Interact directly with clients to assess their needs, provide estimates, and deliver high-quality service in a professional and timely manner
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. Manage a range of hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment required for various tasks.
- Respond to urgent repair requests and resolve issues quickly and effectively, such as plumbing leaks or electrical malfunctions.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS/ QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficiency in a range of trades including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and general maintenance.
- 2-5 years of hands-on experience in electrical, plumbing, general maintenance, or a related field.
- A certificate/or equivalent in masonry, electrical or plumbing technology, diploma in technical field is an added advantage
- Register/ license with relevant professional body
