About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Channel Administrator to manage and oversee the digital platforms supporting this holistic agricultural solution. This role involves ensuring seamless communication, data integrity, and the operational efficiency of tools like FarmPass, DigiCow, and other integrated solutions. The Channel Administrator will also provide vital technical support, monitor platform performance, and ensure all stakeholders are effectively connected and engaged.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Management

  • Administer and oversee digital platforms including FarmPass and DigiCow, ensuring consistent uptime and functionality.
  • Monitor and manage user accounts, permissions, and access across all digital channels.
  • Coordinate with technical teams to address platform issues and implement updates or enhancements.

Data Integrity & Reporting

  • Ensure accurate collection, management, and analysis of farmer data, market information, and platform usage metrics.
  • Generate regular reports on platform performance, farmer engagement, and key data trends for stakeholders.
  • Assist in maintaining data security and compliance with relevant regulations.

User Support & Engagement

  • Act as the primary point of contact for platform-related queries from farmers, financial providers, and other stakeholders.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops for users to familiarize them with the digital tools.
  • Provide ongoing technical support to resolve user issues promptly and effectively.

Operational Coordination

  • Collaborate with project teams to align platform operations with project goals and milestones.
  • Work with partners including Mastercard, Heifer International, and DigiCow to ensure seamless integration of digital tools.
  • Support the development and deployment of communication campaigns to drive platform adoption and usage.

Performance Optimization

  • Continuously monitor platform usage and feedback to identify areas for improvement.
  • Work with developers and partners to implement enhancements that improve user experience and operational efficiency.
  • Track KPIs related to platform engagement, user satisfaction, and operational reliability.

Qualifications and Experience

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in digital platform management, channel administration, or IT support.
  • Proven experience working with digital tools in agriculture, finance, or development projects is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of data management, analysis, and reporting systems.

Skills

  • Proficiency in digital platform administration, troubleshooting, and user support.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with platforms like FarmPass, DigiCow, or similar tools is highly desirable.
