RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide safe, effective, patient centered, timely, efficient and equitable care to all patients that visit the hospital.
- Contributing clinical Dental expertise to patient care in the facility.
- Performing administrative duties and risk management.
- Ensuring the highest standards in patient care are maintained.
- Verifying complex diagnoses and facilitating treatment plans.
- Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards.
- Reporting to senior management, as well as liaising between administrative and medical staff.
- Participate in the medical outreaches
QUALIFICATION
- Diploma in Community Oral Health from a recognized institution.
- Two years of progressive relevant working experience.
- Valid practicing license.
- Excellent reporting and presentation skills.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills is required together with proven leadership capabilities.
- Proactive team player with strong customer service and problem-solving skills. Self-motivation and the ability to work with minimum supervision.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Examining and diagnosing ocular diseases and disorders.
- Examine the eyes, conduct tests and use ophthalmoscopes, bio-microscopes and other specialized instruments to determine ocular health and visual efficiency
- Refraction and basic vision management
- Prescribe and fit eyeglasses and contact lenses and assist in frame selections also recommend treatments.
- Educate and advise patients on contact lens use and care, ocular hygiene, preventive care and maintenance, light arrangements working distances and other safety factors
- Refer patients to ophthalmologists or other physicians and surgeons for treatment of ocular or other diseases or conditions.
- Assessing, planning, implementing optical intervention and evaluating patient outcomes and providing appropriate health care service
QUALIFICATION
- Degree/Diploma in Optometry
- Valid practicing license.
- Experience-Over THREE (3) years' experience in a similar role
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills is required together with proven leadership capabilities, communication, interpersonal and decision-making skills.
- Proactive team player with strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivation and the ability to work with minimum supervision.
