The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning, management and execution of all technical activities in the company.

  • Minimum Qualification :Bachelors
  • Experience Level :Mid level
  • Experience Length :5 years
  •  Participating in continuous analysis and troubleshooting of maintenance problem and drawing counter measures
  •  Preparing accurate and timely reports and distributing to appropriate users as required
  •  Planning and maintenance of machinery and equipment
  •  Ensuring maintenance activities are carried out within established standards and specifications
  •  Ensure ISO 22000 implementation and monitoring of performance
  •  Observing and complying with environmental, health and safety measures, food safety and statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Handle all aspects of capital and revenue expenditure relating to the factories / buildings / water supply / electrical installations.
  •  Leading and managing preventive and breakdown maintenance for the factories
  • Plan, guide, monitor and control all the technical activities across the Company’s large tea factories and the tea estates.
  •  Assessing procurement requirement in units as per policies and procedures
  •  Design, maintain and supervise assembling of new machinery.
  •  Oversee the operations of a large vehicle fleet.
  •  Evaluate existing tea manufacturing processes and develop control strategies to ensure compliance with industry specifications and regulations.
  •  Overall responsibility for the company’s Central Workshop.
  •  Manage, train and monitor the performance of the technical staff.
  •  Evaluating and implementing cost reduction programs in the units

Qualifications and Competencies

  •  Bachelor’s degree in mechanical / civil / electrical engineering from a recognized institution.
  •  At least 5 years of experience in the tea industry.
  •  Thorough knowledge of the tea manufacturing process.
  •  Sound understanding of financial planning and budgeting.
  • Good managerial and leadership skills.
