    Job Purpose

    • The Warehouse Site Manager is responsible for organizing the safe and efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of warehouse materials, goods, and products to feed our client’s business operations and customer demand. The job holder is responsible for ensuring the efficient management and control of the warehouse whilst achieving agreed budgetary and service levels.

    Key responsibilities

    • Provide a safe working environment, adhering to Health, Safety and Environmental procedures and ensuring they are understood and practiced by the team at all times.
    • Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice warehouse vision, strategy, policies, processes, and procedures to aid and improve operational performance.
    • Ensure an efficient warehouse operation which is able to fulfil operational and customer demand.
    • Plan, co-ordinate and monitor the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
    • Ensure inventories are accurate and control inventory levels by ensuring physical counts are conducted and reconciled with automated system utilizing help of the warehouse team.
    • Establish, monitor, and maintain high standards of security in the warehouse by setting security procedures.
    • Supervise daily warehouse activities, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, and customer service.
    • Schedule and oversee warehouse team and manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime.
    • Meet regularly with warehouse leads to analyse productivity and develop actionable plans for loss prevention.
    • Ensure efficient and effective use of warehouse space to include layout and future capacity requirements.
    • Develop and maintain metrics/KPIs, reports, process documentation, customer service logs and training and safety records.
    • Coach, manage and develop warehouse staff and team leaders to optimise performance and meet targets and deadlines.
    • Communicate with warehouse staff on a regular basis to make them aware of priorities, targets, and operational requirements.
    • Input and hold responsibility for Warehouse budgets.
    • Contribute to new business initiatives and projects and review and communicate the impact on Warehousing activities.

    Requirements

    • Educational Qualification: BS degree in logistics, supply chain management or business administration
    • Work Experience requirements: 5 years of experience as a Warehouse Manager or similar role. Experience in retail is an added advantage.

    Purpose of role

    The HR Business Partner (HRBP) position is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units/departments/Divisions. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added services to management and employees that reflect the organizational business objectives. The HRBP will maintain an effective level of business literacy about the business unit’s financial position, its medium-term plans, its culture, and competition.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Support design, implement, and monitor adherence to HR policy, processes, and procedures to ensure best practices, efficiency, and responsiveness to both organization strategy and employee needs
    • Managing employee relations including addressing grievances, and disputes as per statutory and company policies and procedures
    • Management and monitoring of staff benefits and employee welfare programs (medical, staff assistance program, and leave) including occupational health and safety.
    • Conducts bi-monthly meetings with respective business units/Stores
    • Consult with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate.
    • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
    • Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
    • Manage staff attendance, Leave, Off Duty and address the gaps
    • Prepare timely and accurate reports for management decision-making
    • Ensure timely payroll processing and adherence to statutory requirements.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Bachelor’s Degree in HRM.
    • Diploma in HRM or Business Management.
    • Minimum of 5 years experience.
    • Good knowledge of labor laws.
    • Membership to the relevant professional body.
