Position Purpose:
- Help ensure the availability, security, and smooth operation of IT infrastructures, while providing technical support to users and other technology staff.
- Support in improving the company’s IT systems and managing incidents, deploying new technologies, and updates according to group policies.
- Escalate unresolvable issues to IT services provider.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Work to solve hardware and software issues (computers, printers, networks, etc.).
- Configure and install new computer equipment (PC, servers, etc.).
- Provide assistance for servers and local networks installations (LAN, WAN, VPN).
- Support physical technology infrastructure, including radio, security, and wireless.
- Respond quickly to major incidents to minimize service disruptions.
- Ensure that security patches and updates are applied regularly.
- Contribute to the planning and implementation of IT projects (new facilities).
- Participate in the evaluation and deployment of new technologies and tools.
- Maintain the IT inventory.
- Maintain IT records and queue priorities.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to identify IT needs.
- Ensure compliance with the company’s IT security policies.
- Train employees on software use and data security.
- Administer and maintain Microsoft 365 (user, group, license management).
- Manage Office 365 services such as Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Teams.
- Provide support for the use of Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
Qualification/Experience:
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
- Two to Three years relevant experience in IT.
- Microsoft Office 365.
- Report writing.
