Junior Art Director/ Creative Designer

Essential Job Functions
- Drive strategic creative thinking by developing key project directions and visual designs that align with client objectives, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines and the highest quality standards.
- Conceptualize and deliver compelling communication materials and innovative campaign concepts, including static designs, GIFs, and film/motion content.
- Partner with external production teams, such as photographers and videographers, to elevate the quality and execution of creative projects.
- Collaborate with account managers and clients to thoroughly understand briefs and transform them into impactful, tailored creative solutions.
- Present and advocate for creative concepts to clients, articulating the rationale and anticipated outcomes with clarity and confidence.
- Cultivate seamless collaboration through exceptional written and verbal communication across internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Oversee and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery within budget and in line with agreed specifications.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, infusing fresh, relevant ideas into creative strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
- Tackle complex design challenges with innovative, well-reasoned solutions that balance creativity and technical feasibility.
Qualifications
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in graphic design, Visual Arts, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a marketing or agency setting.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, and InDesign).
- Proven experience in developing both static and motion/film creative assets.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a mix of visual layouts, branding, and video production work.
- Excellent design and visual storytelling skills with a keen eye for detail.
Working Conditions
- Part-time, 6-month renewable contract.
- Expected to dedicate two on-site workdays (8:00AM to 5:00 PM) per week at Levanter Africa’s office.
- Flexible poly-working arrangements for remote collaboration on off-site days.
- Must have access to personal design tools and software.
- May be required to travel up to 10% of normal schedule.
