Key Competencies
- Capability of performing tests in a clinical laboratory sections;bacteriology,haematology,immunology,chemistry,parasitology and serology
- Full knowledge and understanding of quality control protocols.
- Full knowledge and understanding of Infection Prevention Control (IPC) Procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma in laboratory science from a recognized institution.
- Valid practicing license from KMLTTB
- Computer literacy
- At least three years’ experience in laboratory work
- Work Experience in a comprehensive care center (CCC) setup will be an added advantage
Summary of Roles
- Providing efficient and effective laboratory examination as per the SOP manuals and report the test results.
- Perform and adhere to daily quality assurance and quality control procedures
- Dispatching medical reports to clinical team
- Undertake Procurement of lab equipment and laboratory reagents
- Coordinating all activities taking place in the laboratory
- Compiling reports of laboratory and store activities regularly and when required.
- Correctly dispose of biohazardous materials, labeling and handling of all materials.
- Adhere and adapt to organizational goal, objectives and standards of performance policies and procedures
- Other Roles as shall be assigned by the Team Lead. /HSL
