General Description
The primary responsibility of the Marketing Manager is to grow company revenue by overseeing the entire marketing division. This includes evaluating and developing the marketing strategy, organizing, coordinating, and leading marketing initiatives, as well as conducting competitor research and analyzing the demand for the company’s goods and services.
Job Overview
The Marketing Manager leads the marketing team in planning and executing marketing initiatives. This role involves developing comprehensive marketing plans, conducting research on the target market, and ensuring that marketing campaigns are executed within the allocated budget and timelines. The Manager also monitors campaign performance to ensure that it aligns with the company’s objectives.
Objectives of this Role
- Lead the creation of strategies and portfolio/investment recommendations to drive a sustainable increase in market share for Total Business Alcohol (TBA).
- Continuously gather data on consumer behavior, competition, and market trends to position brands effectively.
- Formulate ambitious and creative marketing strategies to enhance brand positioning.
- Design and implement multi-channel marketing initiatives to increase consumer acquisition, engagement, and retention.
- Drive digital marketing efforts through data-driven insights.
- Oversee brand performance with a focus on P&L accountability, ensuring alignment with the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), while proactively managing risks and resources to meet targets.
- Lead marketing initiatives and departmental routines.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and lead the marketing strategy to ensure brand growth and market share increase.
- Continuously analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competition to create relevant marketing campaigns.
- Manage the execution of multi-channel campaigns aimed at customer acquisition and retention.
- Utilize digital marketing strategies to drive brand visibility and engagement.
- Monitor and optimize budget allocations for effective resource management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute marketing strategies.
- Drive the overall strategic direction of the marketing department.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in leading a marketing team.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience in digital marketing (content marketing, social media marketing).
- Demonstrated ability in budget management.
- A professional work ethic with the ability to work independently and in teams.

Qualifications and Requirements
- A Business Degree or a professional marketing qualification (e.g., CIM).
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in a senior marketing role, with prior sales and commercial leadership experience being advantageous.
- Extensive experience in the FMCG industry to develop successful local brands.
- Proven track record of strategic decision-making and navigating complex consumer and channel environments.
- International business experience will be considered an advantage.
- Experience in managing large corporate networks with multiple brand owner duties.
