If you are passionate about healthcare technology and equipment management, we would love to hear from you!Position 1: Laboratory ScientistLocation: Dar es Salaam, TanzaniaDepartment: Laboratory DepartmentKey Responsibilities:– Support the supply, installation, and maintenance of laboratory equipment and diagnostic tools.– Advise clients on equipment specifications and assist with user training.– Maintain detailed records of equipment specifications, usage, and service history.– Ensure quality control and regulatory compliance for all laboratory equipment.– Collaborate with vendors and clients to resolve equipment-related issues.– Identify potential suppliers for medical goods and negotiate advantageous partnerships and deals.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor’s degree in Laboratory Science, Medical Laboratory Technology, or a related field from an accredited institution.Experience: Minimum of two years of professional experience in laboratory and medical equipment supply and support or related experience.Skills: Strong knowledge of laboratory techniques, diagnostic tools, equipment handling, and laboratory safety standards.Certification: Valid professional certification or license as required by local regulations.Other: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.—Position 2: Biomedical EngineerLocation: Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.Department: TECHNICAL DEPARTMENTKey Responsibilities:– Oversee the supply, installation, and servicing of biomedical equipment in healthcare or laboratory settings.– Provide technical support and training to clients on the operation and safety of medical devices.– Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment safety and functionality.– Collaborate with procurement teams and vendors to ensure timely delivery of high-quality biomedical equipment.– Maintain detailed records of service history, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities.– Identify and negotiate with suppliers to improve cost-efficiency and enhance equipment quality.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution.Experience: At least two years of professional experience in biomedical engineering, focusing on medical and laboratory equipment supply and maintenance.Skills: Expertise in the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of medical devices; solid understanding of industry standards and regulatory compliance.Certification: Professional certification in biomedical engineering (preferred but not mandatory).Other: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, along with excellent communication skills.—How to Apply:Interested candidates should submit their CV and Cover Letter outlining their qualifications and relevant experience to our HR team at[email protected].
