Role Purpose
The Quality Assurance Assistant will be responsible for verifying adoption entries submitted by trainers to ensure compliance with DigiCow Africa Ltd’s standards. The role involves validating adoption claims, detecting and investigating fraudulent entries, and providing feedback to County Coordinators to facilitate informed decision-making. A criminology skill set is crucial for identifying fraud, assessing patterns of misconduct, and ensuring adherence to ethical practices.
Key Responsibilities
Verification Process
- Access the partners' portal daily to review and verify pending adoption entries.
- Plan and execute verification tasks by County in collaboration with Regional Coordinators.
- Conduct call-backs to farmers to confirm adoption details, including product purchases and trainer claims.
- Use sample-based verification to identify non-compliance patterns and potential anomalies.
Fraud Detection and Reporting
- Leverage criminology skills to investigate discrepancies and identify fraudulent adoption entries.
- Analyze data to detect patterns of misconduct or irregularities in adoption submissions.
- Promptly report findings to County Coordinators for corrective action.
Trainer Performance Updates
- Track and analyze trainer performance metrics, including approval and rejection rates.
- Notify County Coordinators of trainers whose performance falls below acceptable standards.
Feedback and Communication
- Provide feedback to Regional Coordinators about trainer behavior and potential risk factors.
- Ensure trainers are informed of rejected entries and provide recommendations for improvement.
Reporting
- Compile and analyze data on verified adoption entries and share insights with County Coordinators.
- Prepare detailed daily and weekly reports on verification progress, fraud investigations, and payment recommendations.
Qualifications and Experience
Education
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Criminology, Project Management, Agriculture, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum of 1 year in verification, fraud detection, or compliance-related roles.
- Experience in agricultural systems or working with rural communities is an advantage.
