Location: Zanzibar

Experience: Minimum of 3 years in construction cost estimation and project budgeting

Contract: 2 years with the possibility of renewal upon performance

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate cost estimates and budgets for landscaping and architectural

projects.

• Conduct quantity take-offs from design drawings and plans.

• Develop tender and contract documents, including Bills of Quantities (BoQs).

• Monitor project expenditures and track variations.

• Perform site valuations and progress reporting.

• Advise on procurement and material cost-efficiency.

• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and site supervisors.

• Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory construction standards.

Required Skills & Knowledge:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or equivalent.

• Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and QS software (e.g., CostX, Buildsoft).

• Strong analytical and numerical skills.

• Good negotiation and contract management skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication.
