Role Purpose
The Regional Coordinator will be responsible for planning, implementing, coordinating, and evaluating DigiCow Africa Ltd's activities within assigned Counties. This includes acting as the main point of contact for stakeholders, managing key relationships, and driving sales growth while ensuring the success of DigiCow’s solutions. Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, the Regional Coordinator will support the delivery of various projects, adhering to the organization’s standards, processes, and policies.
Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination
- Plan, coordinate, and evaluate DigiCow activities in assigned Counties.
- Represent DigiCow in meetings with stakeholders, ensuring the company meets targets and prepares required reports (monthly, quarterly, and annual).
- Work closely with assistant regional coordinators to ensure effective implementation and monitoring of projects.
- Ensure that processes related to group training and project implementation align with company standards.
- Provide ongoing support to trainers, inseminators, and county officials using DigiCow’s systems.
Training & Support
- Train partners on using the DigiCow system, including accessing and interpreting reports.
- Train users (inseminators and trainers) on the Ndume and DigiCow apps to train farmers and maintain breeding records.
- Ensure effective adoption of the Ndume App within the region, providing technical support as needed.
- Facilitate linkages between clients, trainers, and farmers, addressing their needs and ensuring satisfaction.
Sales & Business Development
- Identify new business opportunities and partnerships within assigned Counties.
- Drive the adoption of DigiCow solutions, working to achieve and exceed regional sales targets.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to introduce DigiCow’s services to potential users, including farmers, trainers, and county officials.
- Actively promote DigiCow’s products and services to new clients and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
- Support revenue growth by identifying and pursuing opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within the region.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with all project partners and stakeholders.
- Represent DigiCow in regional engagements, ensuring alignment with local government initiatives and private sector partnerships.
- Collaborate with partners to deliver shared objectives, ensuring mutual benefits and sustained relationships.
Team Leadership & Development
- Assist in the recruitment, orientation, and training of assistant regional coordinators.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.
Education & Experience
- BSc in Animal Production, Agriculture Extension and Education, General Agriculture, or sales & Marketing and related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in project coordination, training, or sales within the agricultural sector.
Skills & Competencies
- Sales Acumen: Proven ability to identify business opportunities, close sales, and achieve targets.
- Tech Savvy: Comfortable using digital tools and apps to train and manage users.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients, partners, and team members.
