Key Responsibilities:

The Safety and Risk Control Officer will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities aimed at ensuring workplace safety and adherence to regulatory standards. These include:

  • Developing and enforcing safety and security protocols.
  • Conducting routine audits and risk assessments to proactively identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Delivering safety and compliance training for employees, aligned with OSHA, municipal, and state regulations.
  • Investigating accidents and incidents, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Maintaining records related to safety incidents, training sessions, and emergency drills.
  • Collaborating with the management team to craft and refine safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Skills:

Candidates are expected to have: A bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field. At least 3 years of experience in a safety role, ideally within a manufacturing environment.

CSP certification or equivalent is an advantage. Proficiency in safety regulations, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Boldness and resilience in enforcing safety standards.

Preferred Criteria:
