ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Security Planning and Management
• Supervises the on-duty guards (and other deployed security), to ensure strict adherence to duties, responsibilities and guard roster
• Coordinates physical security efforts across GZ Industries
• Maintains relationships with county and national law enforcement and other related agencies
• Disseminates information concerning security policies and approved procedures to all staff on a regular basis
• Provides recommendations to the Chief Security Officer on how security measures can be improved
• Conducts inspections of security posts to ensure performance of assigned tasks
• Ensures that security policies, procedures and practices are being effectively carried out and that Management is updated on security issues where necessary
• Manage appropriate use of electronic support systems and the maintenance of said systems Incident Management
• Conducts investigations in cases of misconduct, theft etc. and reports to the Chief Security Officer for necessary action
• Monitors staff to ensure compliance with GZ Industries’ security policies, procedures and Practices
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Required Education
• Minimum of a first degree in security or criminology or any discipline
• Relevant professional certification e.g. Associate Protection Professional (APP), Physical Security Professional (PSP), Professional Certified Investigator (PCI) or Certified Protection Professional (CPP)
Required Experience
• Minimum of 4 years relevant experience
• A background in the military, police force or a security institution is an added advantage
