Position: Senior Electrician

Key Responsibilities

1. Achieve Zero Harm/Incident in the area of maintenance responsibilities by identifying, reporting, and taking corrective actions on unsafe conditions or acts.
2. Maintain good housekeeping in sections as per Plant Management/HOD E&I guidelines.
3. Achieve equipment reliability of more than 98% by conducting routine walk-through inspections and addressing identified tasks on a priority basis.
4. Assist the Manager of Electrical in job planning, maintenance preparations, and resource management for preventive maintenance, breakdowns, and planned shutdowns.
5. Operate and maintain electrical equipment, including transformers, MCC feeders, PCC feeders, cable jointing, motor testing, safety device testing, VCB, ACB, relay, control circuit drawing, and power circuit drawing for fault tracing.
6. Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in equipment.
7. Perform routine maintenance on electrical equipment to ensure its safe and efficient operation.
8. Maintain and repair Stacker and Reclaimer, Packer and Truck loading machines, LRS, and HT motors.
9. Ensure compliance with ISO standards and electrical safety regulations.
10. Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs.
11. Train and mentor junior electricians.

Education & Certification

• VETA certification from a reputed institution.

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience.
