Responsibilities:
As the Sport Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
• Design, implement, and oversee a wide range of sports programs and events that cater to members of all ages and skill levels.
• Recruit, train, and supervise coaching staffs and heads of various sports events, ensuring high standards of performance and member engagement.
• Develop and manage the sports department budget, ensuring cost-effective operations while maintaining the quality of services offered.
• Foster a strong community spirit by promoting member participation in sports activities and addressing their feedback to enhance sports offerings.
• Collaborate with facilities management to ensure that sports facilities are maintained to the highest standard and are safe for member use.
• Develop marketing strategies to promote sports events and programs to increase participation and member satisfaction.
• Ensure all sports activities comply with relevant health and safety regulations and maintain risk management protocols.
• Regularly assess the effectiveness of sports programs and staff performance, making recommendations for improvement.
• Management of all sporting equipment.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in sports management, program development, or a related field. Experience in a membership-driven environment is desirable.
• Proven track record of effective team leadership and the ability to inspire and motivate staff.
• Strong budgeting, planning, and financial management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with members and staff.
• Exceptional organizational abilities with a strong attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., coaching, first aid/CPR) are preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
