The successful candidate will be based at our Kiserian campus and will play a key role in maintaining proper inventory management systems that support the school’s operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Receive all supplies delivered to the school, verify accuracy against purchase orders (quality, quantity, condition), and record all incoming items.
• Store all materials in an orderly, safe, and accessible manner, ensuring optimal use of space and proper labelling.
• Maintain cleanliness, order, and safety within the store area at all times.
• Issue materials and supplies to various departments based on approved requisitions and maintain accurate manual and digital records of all issued items.
• Monitor and maintain stock levels, prepare stock replenishment reports, and communicate timely re-order alerts to the procurement office.
• Maintain comprehensive inventory records and registers and assist with regular stock counts and reconciliations.
• Generate reports on stock usage, variances, and stock balances for review by management.
• Participate in reviewing and improving store policies and internal controls for enhanced efficiency and accountability.
• Respond to inquiries and resolve complaints regarding store services or supply issues.
• Support audit processes and ensure compliance with the school’s financial and inventory management procedures.
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the administration.
Qualifications and Competencies
• A Diploma in Stores Management, Procurement, Purchasing & Supplies Management, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of proven experience in a busy store/inventory management role.
• Proficiency in ICT,
• Experience working in a school or educational institution will be an added advantage.
• Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• High level of integrity and professionalism.
