    Job Summary:

    • We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Swahili Translation Intern to join our team. As a Translation Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in the translation industry while working closely with our experienced translators. You will assist in translating, proofreading, and editing of various documents. 

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist in translating, proofreading, and editing of documents.
    • Assist in research of industry-specific terminology to ensure accurate translations
    • Support the team in ensuring consistency in language use and style across all translated materials.
    • Collaborate with the team in project management activities, such as monitoring deadlines and tracking project progress.
    • Assist organizational and administrative tasks as needed.

    Qualifications:

    • Fluency in Swahili and English languages (both written and spoken).
    • Keen attention to detail with the ability to work independently.
    • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software.
    • A passion for language, culture, and linguistics.

    Education and Experience:

    • Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree in Translation, Linguistics, Swahili language, or a related field.
    • Previous translation experience is an added advantage.
    • Native Swahili speakers are highly encouraged to apply.
