1. Resident Engineer – 3 Positions (One for Each Project)Qualifications: Tanzanian citizen with a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent. Professional Engineer registered with the Engineering Registration Board (ERB), holding a current practicing license.
Postgraduate qualification in Bridge/Structural Engineering is an added advantage. At least 7 years of experience in relevant fields, including bridge and structure construction supervision. Fluency in Swahili and English is mandatory.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing sketches, maps, and reports.
- Review survey data and record survey results accurately.
- Determine equipment specifications for aerial photography.
- Additional related duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Tanzanian citizen with a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering. ERB-registered Professional Engineer with a practicing license.
Postgraduate qualification in Civil Engineering preferred. Minimum of 10 years of experience in bridge construction design, supervision, and FIDIC contract management.
Responsibilities:
- Review structural drawings and ensure standards compliance.
- Inspect and approve construction materials.
- Maintain project records, including work diaries and reports.
Qualifications: Tanzanian citizen with a Diploma in Land Surveying or equivalent. At least 5 years of experience in land surveying.
Responsibilities:
- Review and verify survey data.
- Identify and locate benchmarks for contractor guidance.
- Conduct surveys to establish property boundaries.
Qualifications: Tanzanian citizen with an FTC or Diploma in Civil Engineering. Minimum of 2 years of experience in soil/material laboratory work.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee on-site technical and administrative tasks.
- Manage quality control and submit progress reports.
Qualifications: Tanzanian citizen with a Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Land Surveying, Geomatics, or equivalent.
Professional Land Surveyor registration by NCPS is required. Postgraduate qualifications in surveying are advantageous.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct and monitor testing processes.
- Maintain testing reports and records.
Qualifications: Tanzanian citizen with a Diploma in Civil Engineering, Highway Engineering, or Land Surveying. At least 5 years of experience in relevant fields.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare project-related drawings and sketches.
- Maintain site office diary and prepare reports.
Qualifications: Tanzanian citizen with a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering. ERB-registered Graduate Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise laboratory experiments and ensure specification adherence.
- Implement QA/QC procedures in the project.
Qualifications: Tanzanian citizen with a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering. ERB registration as a Professional Engineer and a practicing license. Postgraduate qualification in geotechnical or pavement engineering is beneficial.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in structural review and report preparation.
- Submit daily cost updates and progress reports.
Qualifications: Tanzanian citizen with a Degree in Civil Engineering. ERB-registered Graduate Engineer with at least 3 years of experience.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect road work quality and ensure adherence to specifications.
- Oversee QA/QC procedure implementation.
- Contract Type: Specified Contract.
- Salary and Benefits: TANROADS Salary Scale with allowances per TANROADS Incentive Policy.
