Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute audit engagements for a portfolio of clients across various industries, ensuring compliance with International Standards on Auditing (ISAs).
- Plan, supervise, and review the work of audit juniors to ensure quality and efficiency in audit execution.
- Evaluate internal controls, identify risks, and provide actionable recommendations for process improvement.
- Prepare and present comprehensive audit reports to management and clients. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS) and regulatory requirements relevant to clients.
- Foster strong client relationships by providing excellent service and support.
- Contribute to the training and development of junior team members.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA (K)/ACCA certification or equivalent; membership with ICPAK is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in external audit, preferably in a reputable audit firm.
- Experience in a manufacturing setup is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, ISAS, and local tax regulations.
- Proficiency in audit software (Knowledge of Draftworx Audit Software will be an added advantage) and Microsoft Office Suite.

About the Role:
- As an intern at Bon and Drew Associates, you will gain hands-on experience in audit and taxation, working alongside experienced professionals. This role is ideal for individuals eager to learn, develop technical skills, and build a solid foundation for a successful career in accounting and finance
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing and conducting external and internal audits.
- Support the audit team in analyzing financial data and preparing reports.
- Help prepare tax computations and filing returns in compliance with Kenyan tax laws.
- Conduct research on tax laws, accounting standards, and industry regulations.
- Maintain organized and accurate documentation for client engagements.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the audit and tax teams.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA (K)/ACCA coursework is an added advantage.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
