Job Purpose
- To maintain the quality of credit facilities advanced by ensuring credit documentation is enforceable and the bank’s interests in collateral are secured, regulatory compliance and ensure that borrowers meet their contractual obligations as stipulated in loan contracts.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Ensure compliance with CBK and Microfinance Act regulatory requirements and other regulations
- Disbursement of loans according to the approved terms ensuring that all loan account balance, commissions, and interest are properly calculated.
- Preparation of IFRS 9 reports, ISAS39 reports and other management reports as well as periodic returns to Central Bank of Kenya and credit reference bureaus
- Management of a database and loan listings of all loans received into the department
- Designing, reviewing and updating a risk-based model for the Bank
- Preparation of timely and accurate facility offer letters and return of the same from customers in liaison with the Account Relationship Managers
- Ensuring proper securities perfection and registration process
- Manage loan migration by ensuring zero arrears on all performing credit Facilities.
- Maintain an up-to-date register for all securities including valuations and insurances, and their maintenance in the banking system as well as safe custody of the same as per the control procedures
- Collection of loan related fees and commissions for all loans.
- Improving digital loan platforms, loan management systems and other related systems
- Preparation and reconciliations of the loan disbursement reports
- Supporting both internal and external Audit exercise including regulatory Audits
- Management of Loan Files after loan disbursement
- Analyze credit propositions as allocated and recommend for approval
- Reviewing assigned files for compliance of the approval conditions
- To perform any other duty as assigned in line with the organization goals and objectives
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
- Holder of bachelor’s degree in BCOM or a Business-related field.
- Professional qualifications such as CPA, CCP or CIFA etc
- Not less than 5 years in Credit management and extensive knowledge of lending products and prudential guidelines.
- Good knowledge in debt management will be added advantage
- Ability to lead teams and deliver business results.
- Must be self-driven; possess excellent administrative, communication and interpersonal skills,
- strong organization, and negotiation skills.

Job Purpose
- The purpose of this role is to develop and execute Marketing and Public relations strategy to achieve the Bank’s objectives for brand, products and services
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Develop and execute the bank’s branding strategy to ensure clear and visible standard brand application, signage, merchandising, stationery across the network
- Develop and implement events Management strategy including management of bank events such as Press conferences, product & branch launches, media briefs both externally & internally.
- Development and execution of the bank’s social media and website strategy to ensure development of an up-to-date informative website & social media platforms.
- Develop and execute above the line and below the line brand and product awareness strategies.
- Establishes and maintains a consistent corporate image throughout all product lines, promotional materials, and events.
- Design and create product/service awareness material to ensure availability of product fliers & posters and adoption of cost-effective platforms such as websites and all social media platforms.
- Develop and implement internal and external communications strategies, including design and content management for internal e-newsletter, development of Press
- Releases, customer email bursts, bulk SMS content, posters and fliers
- Develop Corporate Social Responsibility policy and oversee the implementation through the CSR board.
- Provide leadership in performance management, employee development, talent management and building a work environment that drives high performance and employee satisfaction.
- Develop and manage the operating budget for the department
- Shaping and executing CMFB digital marketing strategy and business plan in collaboration with EXCOM.
- Transforming marketing processes to align to the digital strategy.
- Develop a commercial strategy and tactical plan to fully market all our alternative banking channels and position them to generate new customer numbers, deposits, transactions and loans.
- Social media campaign implementation and monitoring.
- Developing and optimising online marketing initiatives to drive customer acquisition. ·
- Improving the usability, design, content and conversion of the company website.
- Designing the entire bank’s artwork, updating existing forms and merchandise and maintaining a consistent look and feel of the CMFB brand.
- Developing and managing content-based Social Networks and Blog Sites.
- Reviewing new technologies and keeping the Bank at the forefront of developments in digital marketing.
- To perform any other duty as assigned in line with the organization goals and objectives
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
- University degree in BCOM - Sales & Marketing, Business Administration.
- Relevant professional qualification – Chartered Institute of Marketing or Marketing Society of Kenya.
- At least 5 years’ experience in the leadership of development and implementation of sales and Marketing strategies.
- Previous experience in business-driven and strategic use of social media, e-business / e commerce, marketing, mobile applications, big data and digital technologies.
- Strong business sense with a proven track record of developing, implementing and marketing business systems.
- Experience in the financial services sector is preferred.
- 6 years’ working experience in marketing, preferably in Banking/Financial sector, 3 of which should be at management level
