Duties and Responsibilities
- Duties and responsibilities at this level will involve
- Carrying out systems analysis, design and programme specifications in liaison with users;
- Developing, implementing and maintaining and systems;
- Ensuring adherence to established ICT Standards;
- Supervising and compiling overall systems documentation and advising on ICT related Issues;
- Supervising installation certification, repairs and maintenance of Information Communication Technology equipment and associated peripherals;
- Developing and maintaining ICT standards;
- Recommending and _ supervising hardware/software Information Communication Technology equipment;
- Logging of problems;
- Drawing and scheduling preventive maintenance;
- Assisting in feasibility studies as assigned and

Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, an officer must have:
- Be a Kenyan Citizen; : ;
- A Bachelor’s degree in any Of the following: Computer Science, Business IT, Information Sciences or any other ICT related discipline with a bias in Information Technology from a recognized Institution; as
- At least Six (6) years working experience in Information Communication Technology field;
- Demonstrated diverse community/Youth engagements in various youth related activities and establishments;

Duties and Responsibilities
This will be the entry and training grade for this cadre. Duties and responsibilities at this level will include:
- Writing and testing simple computer programmes according to instructions and specifications;
- Assisting in the implementation of the computer systems;
- Providing user support and training of users;
- Repairs and maintenance of ICT equipment and associated peripherals;
- Monitoring the performance of ICT equipment; and
- Reporting any faults for a further action.
Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade a candidate must have;
- Be a Kenyan Citizen
- Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education mean grade C plain with at least C- (Minus) in Mathematics and English/Kiswahili or its approved equivalent;
- Holder of a Diploma in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics, electronics engineering or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution;
- At least a two years relevant experience;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Proficiency in digital communication tools, including social media platforms;
- Basic graphic design and multimedia skills is an added advantage; and
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and manage multiple tasks.
