Role responsibilities
- Responsible for achieving the overall targets for prescribed region by aligning the sales teams to volumes as per the budget and KPIs. Coordinating with internal & external stakeholders to strategize effective plans and responsible for executing to achieve and surpass the objectives prescribed.
- Including but not limited to;
- Sales management
- Overseeing the overall functions of your region
- Managing distributor orders, Invoices, Debts and inventory levels as per the contract agreement & complying with our operating standard and procedures
- Budgeting/planning & reporting
- Provide regular reports as required on marketing and sales performance including promotional activities, demand forecasts, market intelligence and trends.
- Planning, management and execution of annual sales plans and execution of agreed product marketing plans. Ensure understanding and utilization of the standard operating procedures amongst team members.
- People management
- Responsible for leading and motivating the region team
- Coordinate all sales activities in the regions and evaluate the performance of all the respective team members in the region
- Compliance to asset care policy, maintenance of vehicles and motorcycles
- Financial management
- Responsible for the development and management of Region, Collection and Promotion budgets.
- Ensure proper tracking of the section expenditure
Key deliverables
- Achievement of sales and profit targets
- Achievement of brand objectives
- Financial management - GP%, Debtors
- Forecast accuracy
- Excellent working relationship with all stakeholders
- Use of sales application to track sales and regional activities
Minimum qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years' industry experience selling animal health and crop science products OR Minimum of
- 7 years' experience in FMCG at senior level with proven track record
- Proven track record in Distributor management (route to market models)
- Valid driving license >2 years' experience in driving
- Relationship management with stockists, farmers and distributors
- Experience in farmer training
- Proficiency in computer systems and software and ability to maintain an effective customer database for effective analysis and reporting
- Strong leadership skills, strong business acumen

- Diploma/Degree in Agriculture/Veterinary medicine
