Our client, a big plywood factory, is actively seeking reliable and hardworking warehouse workers to join our team
THE JOB
As a warehouse worker, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders, packing and shipping orders, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. This role is essential to ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving and Processing Stock
- Unload, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Organize and store materials in designated locations.
- Maintain accurate inventory records.
- Order Picking and Packing
- Accurately pick items according to order specifications.
- Pack items securely to prevent damage during transit.
- Prepare shipping labels and documentation.
- Shipping and Logistics
- Load outbound shipments onto trucks or other transport methods.
- Coordinate with logistics partners to ensure timely delivery.
- Inventory Management
- Perform regular stock counts and update inventory systems.
- Report discrepancies, shortages, or damaged goods.
- Warehouse Maintenance
- Keep the workspace clean, organized, and hazard-free.
- Operate and maintain warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
- Safety and Compliance
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols.
- Adhere to company policies and guidelines.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Proven experience as a warehouse worker (preferred).
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50kgs) repeatedly.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory systems.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions
- Standing and walking for long periods.
- Working in varying temperatures (cold and warm environments).
- Occasional overtime or shift work may be required.
