    OBJECTIVES

    • Planning, designing, implementing and maintaining a secure and efficient ICT network and Hardware infrastructure that supports business strategic initiatives.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent MBA or MSC will be an added advantage
    • Microsoft Certified System Engineer Certification
    • Holder of Cisco Certified Network Associates or equivalent
    • Added advantage of Microsoft certifications in: MCP,MCSE,CISCO Certification

    EXPERIENCE

    • Minimum of 8 years of experience in ICT management or a similar role.
    • Proven experience in managing IT teams and cross-functional projects.
    • Strong understanding of IT systems, network architecture, security protocols, and cloud technologies.
    • Experience with IT governance and compliance frameworks.

    SKILLS/ KNOWLEDGE

    • Strategic outlook
    • Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Deep knowledge of current ICT trends and best practices
    • Ability to communicate complex IT concepts to non-technical stakeholders Proficiency with open source reporting packages like Superset, databases like SQL, SAP HANA, MY SQL, Python and programming languages like XML, SPSS, SAS, JavaScript, ETL frameworks, Power BI/Tableau.
    • Problem Solver: Adept at identifying business challenges through data and providing actionable solutions.
    • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.).
    • Certifications such as ITIL, CISSP, or PMP.

    KEY OUTPUTS / TASKS

    • Leadership and Management: Lead and manage a team as well as cross- departmental IT projects.
    • Strategic planning and innovation: Develop and execute long-term IT strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives
    • System and Network Management: Oversee the management of all hardware, software, and network infrastructure, ensuring they are reliable, secure, and scalable
    • Security and Compliance: Ensure the company's IT infrastructure complies with industry standards and regulatory requirements as well as protecting the company data.
    • Vendor and Budget Management: Develop and manage the ICT budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources
    • Reporting and Communication: Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on IT performance, key initiatives, and projects
    • Procurement of I.T. infrastructure when the need arises from the Management's approval
    • Updating of all daily as well as the monthly back-ups of all the information in all the related areas
    • All I.T. infrastructure is operational at all times
    • Ensure that you understand the Quality Management System and implement it on a daily basis. This will be reflected in the Internal Audits every 3 months and the External Audits every 6 months
    • To perform any other duties that may be assigned to you by the Management from time to time

    Legal Officer Junior Management

    PURPOSE

    • To provide legal support and ensure the company's compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies, focusing on the unique challenges facing the company. This role will involve handling corporate legal matters, managing contracts, overseeing intellectual property, and ensuring that all company operations conform to the required legal standards in the countries of operation.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Holder of a Law Degree from an accredited university
    • Admission as an advocate of the High Court of Kenya
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office

    EXPERIENCE

    • Over 3 years' experience in a busy law firm or a large group of companies.

    SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE

    • Knowledge of commercial, contract, intellectual property and labour laws Sound knowledge of court procedures in the Tax Tribunal
    • Drafting skills
    • Knowledge of labour and employment laws
    • Ability to handle and respond to complaints
    • Strong organisation and analytical skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strategic legal thinking and problem-solving abilities
    • Attention to detail and high ethical standards
    • Reports To Legal Manager

    KEY OUTPUTS / TASKS

    • Draft contracts, leases, and agreements and peruse and comment on the contracts, leases and agreements from external counsels or entities
    • Provide general guidance and support to the company in the running of its day to day business activities
    • Continuously keep track of legal developments/ changes in legislations and keep the company fully updated
    • Provide advice and support to the HR department in the handling of labour matters
    • Ensuring that the Company is compliant with the Data Protection laws in the countries of operation
    • Monitoring of intellectual property journals in the countries of interest and ensuring that no potential infringements are allowed to pass
