Responsibilities:
- Design and customize tour packages based on client preferences, budgets, and travel seasons.
- Provide insightful and engaging guided tours, sharing historical, cultural, and geographical knowledge of various destinations.
- Handle inquiries, bookings, and travel arrangements, ensuring seamless coordination of itineraries.
- Build strong relationships with hotels, transport providers, and local attractions to enhance customer experiences.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed and assist travellers with any issues or emergencies during tours.
- Keep up to date with new tourism trends, destinations, and regulations to provide accurate and relevant information.
- Maintain records of tour activities, customer feedback, and operational expenses.
Requirements:
- A degree in Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years’ experience as a tour guide, travel consultant, or in a similar tourism role.
- Strong knowledge of Kenya’s tourist destinations, wildlife, cultural sites, and local customs.
- Customer-focused with a friendly, outgoing, and professional demeanour.
- Ability to handle travel logistics, problem-solving, and emergency situations effectively.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and experience with travel booking software is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and analyze business data from multiple sources, creating regular reports and dashboards that highlight key performance indicators and trends.
- Assist in developing standardized reporting templates and processes to ensure consistency across departments.
- Validate data accuracy and completeness, identifying and resolving any discrepancies or quality issues.
- Create clear, impactful visualizations that effectively communicate complex data patterns to non-technical stakeholders.
- Design and maintain dashboards that provide real-time insights into business performance metrics.
- Transform raw data into compelling visual stories that support decision-making processes.
- Work with spreadsheet applications to perform data analysis, create pivot tables, and develop automated reporting solutions.
- Assist in maintaining and documenting data processes and analytical methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Experience creating clear and effective data visualizations that tell compelling stories.
- Understanding data cleaning and preparation techniques.
- Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, especially in explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
