- Perform quality assurance on existing manufacturing processes.
- Identify areas for process control optimization.
- Evaluate the efficiency of manufacturing technologies, instruments, equipment, and tools.
- Drive process control innovation in collaboration with senior managers.
- Continues review of manufacturing processes and making recommendations on suitable solutions towards automating the manufacturing processes.
- Mentor, train, and develop the skills of technical staff including engineering teams.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Document processes and prepare progress reports.
- Maintain process control operations within budget while upholding quality and efficiency.
- Stay updated on advancements and innovations in process control engineering
Qualifications and Competencies
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably in Chemical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
- At least 5 years of experience in process control or manufacturing engineering, ideally within the food or beverage industry, where an understanding of tea processing would be highly advantageous.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing technologies and equipment used in tea production.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate process efficiency, troubleshoot, and recommend enhancements.
