Our client in the FMCG (Non-Food) sector is looking to enhance its brand visibility in the Kenyan Market. In this regard, they are looking for a results-driven marketing professional to lead such efforts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and drive customer engagement.

  • Minimum Qualification :Bachelors
  • Experience Level :Mid level
  • Experience Length :8 years

In this role, you will work closely with other marketing and sales department members to create and implement marketing campaigns, manage events and sponsorships, and develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  •  Responsible for the marketing of a product or service in its entirety, from research and development through sales, footfalls & conversion.
  •  Oversee the advertising for the product, direct the marketing research, and manage promotion for distribution channels.
  •  Supervise all brand-related activities and become the organization's key source of information on the brand and competitive products.
  •  Work closely with the commercial team to establish branding initiatives to positively impact sales.
  •  Supervise the production of quality merchandise and collateral for corporate functions and brand identity.
  •  Work closely with all internal departments and external suppliers involved in the sales and marketing of the product or service.
  •  Work interdependently and make decisions that will affect the brands future.
  •  Be comfortable in making public presentations, create public relations strategies that will preserve/enhance the company’s reputation and interact effectively within all levels of the organization.
  •  Develop and maintain strong constructive working relationships with multiple internal and external partners.

Do you have the following qualifications, experience and attributes?

  •  Bachelor’s Degree in Sales and Marketing. In addition, a Master’s Degree will be an added advantage.
  •  At least eight (8) years of working experience; four (4) of which must be within a busy, fast-paced fashion industry or FMCG setting.
  •  Certification in CIM will be an added advantage.
  •  Requisite knowledge in project management, digital literacy, customer relationship management, creative thinking, problem-solving as well as a good understanding of marketing principles and concepts.
  •  Motivated self-starter, with the ability to work both independently as well as collaboratively with a team player’s mindset.
  •  Must be result-oriented and have demonstrated creativity through prior work.
  •  Proficiency in analyzing and synthesizing data.
