This position is responsible for onboarding new customers, “farming” existing clients by selling other product categories which they do not currently purchase and maximizing profitability within their sales territory. The holder will work on prospects through the entire sales cycle, including developing new leads, educating customers and turning interested shoppers into long-term customers.

- Developing and executing sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets and goals
- Identify new potential customers by obtaining market information and getting leads from existing clients.
- Maintain existing customers through planned individual account support by calling and visiting regularly
- Recommend and select the right product to suit the customer’s requirements.
- Increasing the number of product lines purchased per client
- Represent the brand during all customer and prospect interactions
- Communicate new products and services, special developments and any other useful information to customers.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by seeking customer feedback, analysing, effectively and efficiently responding to any complaints. Educate customers on how products or services can benefit them financially and professionally.
- Monitor the company’s industry competitors, new products, customer needs or preferences and market conditions.
- Create and maintain accurate sales reports, customer fleet profiles and preferences for all new and existing customers.
- Cross sell other products by highlighting on their benefits
- Prepare weekly sales and activity reports and customer feedback reports and submit them to the Retail Operations Manager
- Ensure no credit risk and adhere to the set credit control policies and procedures.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE
- Bachelor’s degree in sales and marketing or any other business-related course.
- At least 2-3 years experience as a field salesperson in a similar position (B2B Setting) in the automobile or related industry.
- Good knowledge of automobile mechanics.
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel to customer locations within the designated territory.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in work.
